Speaker Series: Scott Clemons

As a private collector who is deeply involved with bibliophilic institutions, G. Scott Clemons lives in both worlds.  He is a student of the history of book collecting, as well as an unapologetic optimist about the contributions that private collectors have to make in the 21st century and beyond.

Clemons is a past chairman of the Friends of the Princeton University Library, the current Treasurer of the Bibliographical Society of America, a member of the Association Internationale de Bibliophilie, a Fellow of the Morgan Library and currently the President of the Grolier Club of New York City.  By day, he is the Chief Investment Strategist of the privately-held New York bank Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
